01. What can I frame?

You can frame your digital upload photos or choose from a range of other products, including images from our Art Gallery, or functional surfaces such as mirror and corkboard.

02. Can I mail in artwork or other items to frame?

Absolutely! Mail us your photos, jerseys, diploima/certificates, posters and original artwork. You can also send us stretched and un-stretched canvas. Or if you prefer, place your order online and bring your items to any of our 1,300 Michaels stores.

03. Do you sell framed artwork?

We do not sell pre-framed artwork, but you can custom frame any of the art prints in our online gallery - we have thousands to choose from!

04. Can you print my image without a frame?

Yes, we can print on paper, canvas, wood, acrylic, metal or glass – with or without a frame.

05. Can you print on canvas?

Yes, we offer three printing options on our premium canvas - thick-wrap, thin-wrap and unstretched in custom sizes. We also offer our Value Canvas in limited standard sizes.

06. Can I frame a canvas print?

Yes, we have frames designed specifically for the thin and thick-wrap canvas. Un-stretched canvas cannot be framed online. If you would like to frame an un-stretched canvas please visit one of our 1,300 Michaels store locations.

07. What are the frames made of?

We offer a variety of high-quality frames made of wood, metal and medium-density fiberboard (MDF).

08. What kind of glass do you use?

All online Custom Framed Prints come with the option of either UV-Protective Acrylic or Anti-Reflective Acrylic. In-store we offer several UV-Protective and Anti-Reflective glass and acrylic options to choose from.

09. Do you offer float mounting?

No, we currently do not offer float mounting option online, but you can get it in-store.

10. Will my frame be fully assembled when it arrives?

All frames come fully assembled and ready to hang.

11. Does my image have to be a certain size or file type?

We accept several different file types including .jpg, .gif., and .png. For the best printing quality, images must be at least 150 dpi and must not exceed 300MB in file size.

12. How large can I print my photo?

Print size varies and will be determined by the size and quality of your digital image. However, our maximum print size offered is 32" x 40" or 28" x 36" with a mat.

13. How small can I print my photo?

The smallest unframed print size we offer is 5” x 5”. Framed prints require an outer frame dimension of 7”x7” or larger.

14. What payment types do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Discover, American Express and MasterCard) for online purchases. We are unable to accept Michaels Gift Cards.

15. Can I purchase a Michaels gift card?

Michaels gift cards can be purchased at merchant.sgiftcard.com/chrome/michaels and are redeemable in store and at Michaels.com.

16. When will I receive my order?

Most online orders will arrive within 7-10 business days after receipt of order. Expedited orders arrive within 3-5 business days.

If you choose to mail in your art for framing, your order will arrive within 7-10 business days from the date we receive your artwork. Expedited orders arrive within 3-5 business days from receipt of artwork.

If you choose to bring your art to a Michaels store, the order will be completed within 14 days of receiving the art.

17. How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is FREE on all GROUND deliveries to the 48 contiguous states and deliveries to all 1,300 Michaels stores. Additional rates apply for deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii and will be reflected at checkout.

18. Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the 50 U.S. states and do not offer shipping to U.S. territories or other countries. Shipping to all 1,300 Michaels stores is also available.

19. How can I track my order?

There are 3 easy ways to track your order. 1) Use the "track my order" link at the bottom of any page 2) log into your account or 3) click on the tracking number in your shipping confirmation email.

20. What is your return policy?

We offer 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us and we will make it right. Refunds will be accepted at any U.S. Michaels custom framing counter. You can also contact us at 1-877-372-6370 or by using the "email us" link at the bottom of the page on michaelscustomframing.com.

Yes, Michaels Rewards can be earned and redeemed on michaelscustomframing.com purchases. They may also be earned and redeemed for in-store custom framing purchases.

24. Is the frame selection on michaelscustomframing.com the same at the selection in Michaels stores?

You will find the same selection of frames on michaelscustomframing.com as we have in our Michaels stores. However we do not currently offer Framing Accessories (fillets and liners) online.

25. When does work begin on my michaelscustomframing.com order?

Our Custom Frame personal Designers will begin working on your order as soon as they receive your digital upload images. For Mail-In art or Bring Art to store orders, work begins when they receive your art.

26. Why do I need separate accounts for michaelscustomframing.com and michaels.com?

Michaels.com and michaelscustomframing.com run on separate platforms, and user info is not linked between them.

27. How do I link my Michaels Rewards account to my michaelscustomframing.com account?

Once logged in, go to "My Account" and click on the Michaels Rewards link at the bottom-right side of the page. You can enter your Michaels Rewards information there.
